Harrisburg Police were called to a report of a man shot between two churches in the area of North 16th and Ethel streets on Friday around 8 p.m., according to a release by the police and maps of the area.
Upon arrival police located the man who was suffering from a gunshot wound and “rushed (him) to a local hospital, where he would later die as a result of his injuries,” police stated in the release.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
